YELLOW DRIP PLANTER
07 February 2011
I saw this poop-brown planter at the thrifts and knew it would be perfect for my lucky money tree. I had to do something about the color so I grabbed some leftover yellow paint (rust-oleum) and slapped it on. Voilà, a yellow drippity planter. The drips were a happy accident. At first, I wanted to paint it completely yellow but half way through, I was feeling the color block and then the drips happened when I stepped out for a little bit to take a breather. Don't worry, I dropped off my little Beatrice at her babysitters a.k.a. my parents so she wouldn't sniff up any of the chemicals.
Well, goodbye terracotta and hello yellow! It matches my yellow Eames rocker, too. Sweet! I might finish it all yellow one day because paint is fun!
