HAPPY FRIDAY FINDS

11 March 2011

Here she is, my old brand new purple sofa! Ever since I saw Capree's gorgeous, purple people eater, a little purple seed was planted. So, the other night, I went digging through Craigslist and this popped up. The shape and body of the sofa is sleek and simple, and it's paired with skinny legs so it goes perfectly with my other furniture in the living room. I had to remove all the yellows because it reminded me too much of the Lakers. This ain't no Staples Center, even though I live just three blocks away from it.

As soon as I picked up the new sofa, I put up the grey one on Craigslist and sold it to a really sweet, young couple in their vintage mercedes station wagon. So far, I've been very lucky dealing with people from Craigslist. Some of them I wish I could keep in touch with and be buddies! Anyway, I enjoy circulating these sofas. It's fun.

Oh, and check out my home featured on Alice in Designland. It's a great site filled with home tours and tips on how to decorate on a budget. Thanks for having me over!

Alright, have a wonderful, thrifty weekend, my vintage vultures.
