L.A. BITS + PIECES : SANTA MONICA
22 March 2011
Day 5 of my T2 adventure brings me to Santa Monica, borderline Venice on Lincoln Blvd. It was a lovely day for walking, I walked about 5 miles. It was mostly sunny and breezy with ominous clouds just lurking around the corner. I didn't realize I was taking so many photos of red objects until I put it all together for the post. It's so vibrant compared to South Pasadena or Downtown. There's not a whole lot of foot traffic, but that's LA for ya. Heaps of mom and pop shops line the street.

ReplyDeleteI like your secret shout out to England!
ReplyDeleteWhat? It wasn't a shout out? Well shut up, I am totally going to say it was. Cock and Bull Pub with "Full British Menu" is awesome. Of course, all you need for a "full British menu" is a potato, some baked beans and a squirt of brown sauce. Then bung it all on some toast.
Soorrrrted. Ha!
Our new 'hood!! Husband and I finally got outta the Valley and moved to Santa Monica last weekend. That Cafe 50's is just a couple blocks from our new place! I love this part of L.A. sooo much... I'm getting this nice warm fuzzy feeling looking at this set of photos. Or maybe that's the wine I'm drinking. Whatever. I love your blog and I love these pictures. Thanks for sharing.
