PARIS REVISTED

27 June 2011

Five months ago I went to Paris for a mini vacay and I still dream about those yummy crepes and Berthillon. Excellent times I'll never forget. Well, I finally got around to develop a few rolls of film from that trip. The weather was frigid so you'll notice a few people all bundled up. I even managed to take a photo of me on one of the bridges, pretending to blend in with the parisians. If only Paris was close enough where I could hop on a train there and back for a weekend, that would be awesome! I bet it's all nice and green and warm right now.

  9. Sooo lovely! The double exposures are amazing, what kind of camera did you use?

You know, I could hop in the train (or car) and be in Paris in a few hours, but I've never done it for the weekend. Because a weekend is so not enough and I would be crying big tears not wanting to leave.

  10. Did you see my and Banoo's lock on the bridge? We have a big ole' gold one there too! It's a shame I didn't know about your blog before when we lived there- I could have taken you to our local caff for the most tooth-rottingly awesome fondant au chocolat with vanillller ice cream. You'd want to get tiny and live in it...a little chocolate house which you could slowly devour. Seriously. Also, you totally fit in with the Parisiens. Well done!

  11. @ littlebouquets thank you

@ Van Aw, you so sweet. Thank you!

@ Iris I used the Yashica D. Really nice for double or triple exposures. I am wicked jealous of you! I would go every weekend!

@ Süsk Of course you and your boo, Banoo have one there. You two are ridiculously cute. I wish we knew each other then! I could've use a buddy or two. And mmm, don't even tease me with those wicked words. I die for ice cream.

i'm always revisiting old trips and am amazed how quickly the months slip past. I think 'oh we were in such and such city recently' and then i realise it was actually over a year ago. Where has this year disappeared to?!
