Say Let's!
September 07 2011
Over the long weekend, I said let's to pretty much everyone and everything. Dim sum, soiree, Cinco de Septiembre, and dancing. Let's do it all! I had more social stimulation this past weekend than I had all year. It was exhilarating.
Here are a few colorful scenes I snapped up. My favorite is when a moth landed on my shirt which became a cute brooch. Très chic, no? Beautiful floor tiles at a tasty, organic vegan restaurant called Café Gratitude. Some fiiine tacos from Justina's boo. And a vintage car spotted while walking Beatrice.

Oh i just love that taco picture! Reminds me of a colorful Debbie Carlos. Would be great as a big print, although you might get hungry looking at it!
ReplyDeletethat brooch is just perfect. so happy to hear that you had a wonderful weekend~ wishing you a fruitful week ahead!

LOVE the chopping shot, dude!
ReplyDeleteIt's not often you see the apostrophe used in "let's".
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a stickler for spelling and grammar, but I do love the apostrophe in "let's" and "'twas".
Those chopping hands look like they are playing the piano.
Holy lord, only you could post a picture of such a rad Camaro and make it look like art. BITCHIN!
ReplyDeleteJason would love that that Piano hands comment! He he.... loving that ride-- shall we go for a road trip? :D
ReplyDelete@ freefalling That's so funny because those chopping hands are actually piano playing hands as well! :D Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDelete@ Süsk You leave the best comments!
@ Justina Yes we shall!
Nice post from my hometown. I have been by Cafe Gratitude to see the tiles. I'm not sure who made them. Granada Tile, an LA and Nicaraguan-based company, also makes cement tile (installed at Intelligentsia Cafe in Silverlake among other places). Keep enjoying your explorations!
