Sometimes I leave my flowers out long after they are dead for this very reason. They are almost as interesting shriveled and faded as they are fresh and vibrant!
@ Al Thanks. The tiny pumpkin-looking things are chinese lanterns. Even when they wilt, they still stay that vibrant orange. I found them at the flower market in downtown L.A.

Beauty can be found anywhere...hope you're having a good week and to answer your question, it's SSDD (same s*** different day!)...thrift pickings are slim. I think it's just that time of year when the Christmas/holiday stuff has taken over all the thrifts...

@ Iris Yea, some wilted flowers are very pungent. Luckily these tulips aren't offensive.
