A roll of 35mm film was exposed to the sun when I accidentally popped open my camera thinking it wasn't loaded. And that split second is all it takes to botch up a container of awesome memories taken in Solvang, CA. Well, not entirely. A few turned out with kooky colors, making them more interesting. And that's why I heart happy accidents.

  7. Those look cool! I love happy accidents with film. One of my summer rolls got caught in the spool before I could rewind it and when I took it out, I got the most amazing light leaks which were perfect for my cliff and seagull shots. I don't usually like light leaks, but I was happy with them that time.

By the way, I love your new header!

  16. Yay for happy accidents! One of my fave film shots ever has a bit of light leak at the top and bottom, worked out perfectly. Although I would've liked to see more of your perspective on Solvang! Haven't been there in two years, I need to go soon for my Scandinavian pastry fix. :)
