I went to LACMA over the weekend to check out Michael Heizer's new sculpture, Levitated Mass. I love earthworks, and land art, so naturally, I was looking forward to this. Seeing the two-story megatlith in person, I thought it was really awesome. Sure, maybe I wished it was in the great barren desert instead but seeing it planted in the urban environment made it interesting. If you're in LA, I urge you to go check it out.
And I had to throw in the last photo of the older gentleman with Tony Smith's Smoke sculpture levitating in the background. Probably my favorite photo from that day at LACMA.

We need to get to LA asap. By the way...Love the composition in your photos. C'est trés magnifique!;)
