Last month, I got to style and shoot for an ad for Dwell magazine. It's for Woolly Pocket, where I spend my days as a creative creature. This awesome home belongs to my boss' friend in the Pacific Palisades in California. I wish I had the chance to tiptoe around the house for a full tour but the living room and kitchen is fantastic enough. I love their bookcase divider and their lush bamboo garden! They also planted two huge yellow paintings on one wall to create privacy from their neighbors. A bit odd but I dig it. And of course, every cool home has a super cute mascot!. Hope you guys like this sneaky peek!

this house is incredible! what a great mix of colors, bold shapes & interesting accept pieces. i love it when you share home tours here. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat light in this space. I like the balance of modern furniture and touches of handicrafts (woven baskets, rough-hewn wooden vessels). Also, how cute that the kiddy books are at self-service level for the little one!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I think I've been there! One of the predock frane twins?
